Joseba Arguiñano
Joseba Arguiñano Ameztoy is a renowned Spanish chef, pastry chef, and television presenter, widely recognized for his appearances on culinary programs on Spanish and regional television. Born into one of the most influential families in Spanish gastronomy, Joseba is the fifth child of the iconic chef Karlos Arguiñano and María Luisa Ameztoy. He grew up surrounded by cooking and began his professional culinary training at the Aiala Hospitality School. He later expanded his knowledge working at the prestigious three-Michelin-starred Akelarre restaurant, helmed by Pedro Subijana, and specialized in haute patisserie at the renowned Escribà Pastry Shop in Barcelona and at the prestigious French school of Thierry Bamas.
After consolidating his career at the family restaurant, he made the definitive leap into the business world, opening his own successful artisan bakery, JA Arguiñano, located in his hometown of Zarautz, where he stands out for his mastery of traditional bread doughs and fine pastries.
He made his first on-screen appearance as a teenager on his father's cooking shows. Over the years, he became an indispensable figure on television, winning over audiences with his natural charisma and his fresh, approachable style.
