Erika O'Bar

Erika O'Bar began her career as actor, moving into a distinguished career as makeup/fx and costumer. Erika worked as a full time UPM/Producer of over a dozen military and special operations training films for three years in Washington, DC., while also serving as makeup and wardrobe/seamstress for live musical performances at the Obama White House. Leaving production to return to freelance makeup and hairstyling, Erika worked on dozens of network television shows as makeup/fx/hairstylist. Renowned for her creativity and also for her ability to relate to others and maintain a positive supportive environment for the talent, often negotiating between talent and production, Erika returned to her roots in Oklahoma and to one of her first goals - becoming a talent agent, after having worked for her own talent agent years before. O'Bar Artists Agency was founded in 2020 as the first crew and literary agency in Oklahoma, if not the mid-south. OAA's focus is to represent diversity by encouraging and supporting new talent toward successful careers, as well as representing a boutique roster of exceptional SAG performers.
