Biography

Akanksha Kataria, in Los Angeles, CA, is a Meisner-trained actor. Her journey began at the Ted Bardy Acting Studio and Playhouse West-Philadelphia. She has since continued to explore learning through improvisation and Chekhov techniques. As a first-generation Indian American, she grew up inspired by the creative work in Bollywood.

Akanksha spends her free time with her gloves up (boxing) or jumping into a cypher (House dance). As a classically trained Soprano, she loves to learn Western and Indian songs.

Akanksha appreciates conveying great stories, believing strongly that the arts can inspire hope and empathy in the world.
