Shira Shaish

Shira Shaish is an Israeli actress and opera singer. She is a graduate of the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music and studied acting at Tel Aviv University.
Shira is known for her role as the singing yacht attendant in Nadav Lapid's film Ken, Yes
She is also known for her role as Efrat in Itay Lev's film Ping Pong ,yet to be released.
She won a prize in the Israeli Chamber Music Competition for her performance of a piece by Michael Damian for vocal soloist and chamber ensemble.
Shira sang at the State Opera Studio in Vienna, and played Magdalena in the Israeli Opera's production of The House of Bernarda Alba, based on Lorca's play. She played the servant in The Crazy Hen, an opera by composer Eyal Bat.
She wrote and performed in the show Knights of the Words, based on poems by female poets, and performed the soundtrack for the film God of the Piano by Itay Tal.
