- Shalina Saleira is a Canadian writer, director, and producer. She graduated from Simon Fraser University, where she earned a degree in Anthropology. Wanting to explore ethnographic research through film, she directed a documentary called 'White Hindustan' (2013), which examines color-ism in India. She soon made her directorial debut with a music video titled "Winter of Freedom - Wonderland."
In 2025, she filmed her first screenplay and comedic short , 'Luna's New Friends' (2025). Shalina continues to work on more developments and commercial projects, her objective is to enhance an inventive, artistic, and creative work environment. Shalina started a new independent production company called Arielas Entertainment, hoping to one day collaborate with others to expand storytelling and originality.
