Biography

Gerard is an Australian stage and screen actor known for grounded, intelligent performances and a natural command presence. Classically trained with an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts from Trinity College London, he began his career in major theatre productions including Les Misérables, Chicago and West Side Story, developing a strong foundation in character-driven performance.

His recent screen credits include Bump and Strife, along with feature roles in I Know What You Did Last Summer and Kockroach. In 2026 he appears in multiple episodes of The Killings: Parrish Station.

Gerard brings rare real-world credibility to screen roles. A former NSW Fire Service officer, twin-turbine pilot and award-winning aerial cinematographer, as well as a state-level champion in both skydiving and fencing, he brings authentic authority, technical confidence and physical presence to roles requiring operational realism.

He is also an internationally credited commercial voice actor, including character work in the video game Corepunk, and has performed stand-up comedy, sharpening the timing and observational humor that informs his character work.
