Nico Demers

Nico Demers is a twenty two year old Mexican/French Canadian writer and actor based in Los Angeles. Donning a raccoon cap and a typewriter, Demers' began setting fire online three years ago and has since amassed an audience of over one hundred thousand followers through his magnetic, heartfelt monologues on TikTok and Instagram. His untethered spirit and passion for language takes shape in his distinct knack for bringing the written word to life. Through this he has been recognized in countless magazines, podcasts, and presses including The Daily Aztec, Rambl Mag, The Pace Press, and Vroom Literary Magazine. In 2022 Demers published two chapbooks and in 2023 released his first full-length collection, Belly. In 2024, he published a poetry collection with the esteemed bottle cap press and received his English Literature degree Cum Laude from San Diego State University. Currently, Demers trains in acting at Joshua Lebar Studios working on single-cam, multicam, and one-hour drama for television and film. He fits into the types of Emile Hirsch, Miles Teller, Andrew Garfiled, Matthew Broderick, Matt Damon etc. and can play anywhere from seventeen to twenty eight years old.
