Chim Onyebilanma

Chim Onyebilanma is a writer, producer and director who has made several films including the multi-award winning short film Wounded. His debut feature length film Treasure Hunt had t’s World Premiere at the prestigious Oscar-qualifying American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in Miami Beach, Florida in June 2025 and has gone on to win awards. He is a passionate storyteller based in Durban, South Africa. His quest is always to tell authentic Afrocentric stories that will engage and entertain audience everywhere in the world because of our shared human experience. He focuses mainly on the crime/thriller genre always with an emphasis on social justice.
