Julie Luu is a Vietnamese American actor based in the Phoenix, Arizona area. After beginning her career in behavioral health, she transitioned into acting, bringing a grounded understanding of human behavior and emotional authenticity to her performances.
Julie has appeared in independent films and short films, including the lead role of Sam in The Shadows, as well as supporting roles in Dr. Green and The People’s Team. Additional screen credits include CoffeeBot, Cacophony, Where the Red Strings Connect, and Country Club. She continues to expand her experience through narrative film, commercial work, and ongoing professional training.
Her training includes film acting, television audition technique, commercial performance, improvisation, teleprompter, and acting foundations through Verve Studios, along with acting-on-camera training at The Actor’s Studio of Orange County.
Originally from Orange County, California, Julie is a first-generation Vietnamese American and is represented by Dani’s Agency.
