Richard Bedlack MD PhD is the Stewart, Hughes, and Wendt Endowed Chair of ALS at Duke University. His unique, patient centric approach to ALS care starts with the outfits he wears, and focuses on positivity and hope. His research attempts to understand why some people can recover from ALS and to learn how to make this happen more often. His work is highlighted in the documentary short film "Stitching Strength."
