Biography

Jonathan Morgan is a paranormal investigator and Lead Investigator with Macon Beyond and Echoes of the South, bringing nearly three decades of experience exploring the unexplained. Since beginning his investigations in the mid-1990s, Jonathan has combined traditional investigative methods with modern paranormal technology to document, analyze, and better understand unexplained phenomena. His approach is grounded in curiosity, respect, and evidence rather than sensationalism.

As part of the Macon Beyond investigative team, Jonathan has explored some of Macon, Georgia’s most historic and reportedly haunted locations, including the Macon City Auditorium, Hay House, Burke Mansion, the 1842 Inn, and the Big House Museum. Working alongside host and producer Carrie Genzel and spiritual medium Morrighan Lynne, he brings the technical and investigative perspective to each case. Jonathan continues that work as Lead Investigator for Echoes of the South, a project exploring Southern hauntings, legends, folklore, unexplained encounters, and true crime. Together with the investigative team, he seeks to uncover not only what may be happening in these locations, but the history and stories that may explain why they continue to echo.

For Jonathan, paranormal investigation isn't about proving a belief, it’s about asking questions, following the evidence, and giving the unexplained the opportunity to tell its story.
