Biography

Stefania Indelicato is a Vancouver-based Canadian actor, and producer, who is trained in both Stage and Screen. Born to Southern Italian parents in Port Alberni, BC, she is first-generation Canadian and the youngest of three children.

Performing in every possible way she could throughout her childhood and teen years, it was no surprise that Indelicato would choose to pursue an acting career the moment it was possible. After high school she began her training at Victoria Motion Picture School in the Acting for the Screen Program. After graduating with Distinction, she continued her performance training in classes and workshops first in Victoria, and later in Vancouver. Indelicato began to feel drawn to pursue a university education which led her to Toronto where she earned an honours bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto, majoring in Theatre and Arts & Culture. After six years studying and working with some of Toronto's best theatre, film, and TV professionals, she felt called back to Vancouver to be closer to family and give "Hollywood North" another shot.

Since returning, Indelicato has studied and worked with Vancouver's most respected teachers, mentors, and coaches. An extended trip to Italy led her to unexpectedly perform in two plays with The English Theatre of Rome. Reinvigorated, she returned home and founded her own production company, the Jessie-Award-winning, dream of passion productions. Simultaneously pursuing theatre, film and TV, throughout her career, in November 2023, Indelicato was nominated for a UBCP/ACTRA Award for Best Supporting Performance in a Series for her portrayal of "Mrs. Hudgens" in Billy the Kid (MGM).

On stage, Indelicato has played: 'Roberta' in John Patrick Shanley's "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea" for which she won the Broadway World Regional Award for Best Actress in a Dramatic Play; 'Gertrude' in Shakespeare's "Hamlet"; 'Sis' in Tommy Smith's "White Hot"; 'Captain Elaine Edwards' in "Ithaka" by Andrea Stolowitz; and 'Michael Corleone' in an all-female production of "Corleone: The Shakespearean Godfather" by David Mann.
