- Marie Zydek was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She started out as a competitive dancer at Sandra Gray Dance Studio, performing in London, Paris and Las Vegas. She got the acting bug after performing in her first school play when she was 15 years old. She is a graduate of Grant MacEwan University Theatre Arts Program.
