Louise is a multi award-winning BIFA and BAFTA qualifying film maker. Her first film, the documentary Physically Being Me (2012 People Dancing) was one of the first doc-dance films exploring perceptions around disability, and which aired on Sky TV. In more recent years she's worked with organizations such as BBCs The Space and alongside film maker Ben Williams to create a series of doc-shorts exploring dance and disability, documentaries on chronic illness, and documentaries and more recently drama shorts. Louise was a mentee on the BBCs Media Trust 50/50 Screenskills Reframing Disability mentoring programme 2021-2022 and BFI disabled Mentoring programme. She continues to write, direct and produce short films alongside developing her screenwriting. Her most recent drama short HOW LONG won multiple awards (including BIFA and BAFTA qualifying) during the 2025-2026 festival run, with selections internationally including the New York Film Festival, Tweetfest Film Festival, Manchester International Film Festival, Melbourne Independent Film Festival, Sea Change Film Festival, Edinburgh Independent Film Festival, Hamburg Film Festival and VENEZIA Film Festival, New York and London Lift Off Festival and more...

She likes to tell hidden, untold stories, often emotional and female led. Social justice and human emotion are at the heart of her stories and the people that she works with.
