Tha Baztad is an upcoming independent rapper in Michigan with a style blending Rap and Hip-Hop with elements of horrorcore and hard rock, creating a sound that is both powerful and captivating. Tha Baztad's journey in music began at the age of 13 when "Baz" discovered a passion for writing lyrics. Over the years, Tha Baztad has developed a unique style that differs from other artists in the industry.
Tha Baztads first album, "The Sleep Paralysis EP (Murda in 15 Minutes or Less)", was released on October 1st, 2024, with 13 short songs, adding up to a 14 minute and 36 second album. Tha Baztad has also released several singles along the way, including "No Mercy," "Break Yo Self," as well as collaborations with multiple other artists on tracks such as "More Than Death (feat. Kung Fu Vampire)," "Chopped (feat. Krizz Kaliko, Tha Baztad)" by Coexist, "Double Homicide (feat. Dillouzion)", "Return of Rap (feat. NATEDOGGYSTL)," "Bizarre Sound (feat. NATEDOGGYSTL, NE ONE)", and many others.
Tha Baztad is also one half of the duo, "Tunngtyed", which is comprised of Tha Baztad and G-Blunt. The two released their first song together, titled, "WATCH OUT!!!", on February 15th, 2025, are currently putting together an album, and putting together the soundtrack to the upcoming independent CutnRun Films movie, "Wendigo and the Wicca".
