Artem Makarov studied Filmmaking at the Michael Academy, where he honed his skills under the guidance of director Vladimír Michálek. His early work includes Sledovaná (CZE; 2024), which he directed, shot, and edited - the film was screened at FESTMICHAEL 2024. He also directed Goblin (CZE; 2024). As of May 2025, he is working as an editor on the upcoming series Gezet 5 (episode 5) (CZE; 2025 release). Additionally, Artem Makarov has been featured as an actor in the Gezet series (episodes 1-5) and various film school projects.
