Lee Kim is an independent film producer recognized for championing ambitious, filmmaker-driven genre cinema. Before transitioning to a full-time career in filmmaking, Kim established a strong professional foundation in the corporate sector, working in investment banking. This unique financial background paved the way for his entry into the independent film landscape, kicking off with the drama This Beautiful City (2007), which earned four Genie Award nominations.
