His father, Andy Boose, also has one quarter German Jewish, as well as English, Scots-Irish, Scottish, German, Dutch, French, Irish, and Swedish, ancestry. sombr's mother, Bennah Serfaty, is of half Moroccan Jewish and half Polish Jewish/Lithuanian Jewish descent. He has an older sister, Amelie Boose.
