Biography

Nishikant Kamat was born on June 17, 1970 in Dadar, Maharashtra, India. He was an actor and director, known for Dombivli Fast (2005), Drishyam (2015) and Mumbai Meri Jaan (2008). He died on August 17, 2020 in Hyderabad, India.

Directional debut in Marathi was Dombivali Fast 2005 which was much acclaimed film.He also was made to direct the film down south as Evano Oruvan.

On 17 August 2020 a confusion led everywhere related to his death where many actors from Hindi and Marathi films posted condolences on social media as he was termed dead by media .But Ritesh Deshmukh cleared the air and posted by saying he is very much alive but critical same day he passed away at 4:30 pm in Hyderabad.

Hindi directional debut was Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan 2008.
