Biography

Mohammad Basereh, an Iranian composer, music producer, sound engineer, sound designer, and psychologist, was born and resides in Ilam, Iran. He began his professional career in 2011, focusing on fusion music and the innovative use of interactive technologies in music creation. Among his notable works is the soundtrack for the short film Borders Never Die (2023), directed by Hamidreza Arjmandi. The film was screened at numerous international festivals and received accolades, including the Special Jury Award at the Ohio International Film Festival (USA) and an Honorary Diploma at the Diojan International Festival (Georgia). He also composed the music for the play Khatoon (2021, directed by Mehrdad Havasi-Pour), which was performed at the Marivan International Street Theater Festival. Holding an advanced degree in psychology, Basereh has published scientific articles in this field. His artistic and research endeavors explore the integration of psychological principles with the art of music.
