Vorlust

Vorlust hails from Oakland, CA, with its origins stemming from performance art and multimedia. They have continuously blurred the lines and crossed genres keeping the elements of experimentation alive and incorporating film into their musical visions. Their debut album, Lick the Flesh, delivers blood-soaked riffs that churn with the hammering of a Beast on heat whilst divinely drenching you in deviant guitar melodies that drip ever so tastefully over thunderous drums. The band conjures up scorching hot blackened hymns with members from Bonestripper, Necrot, Dipygus, and Void Omnia. Cunnus brutally delivers vocals and bass debauchery with Sonny Reinhardt and Dustin Ponko shredding primeval thrash and cavernous solos on guitars and leveling the pit with rhythmic devastating drums by Cody Stein.
