Biography

John P.W. Jones is the older brother of actor Caleb Landry Jones. A former U.S. Marine, John served two combat tours before being injured during his second deployment. In 2007, he was featured on the cover of "Alive Day Memories: Home from Iraq", an HBO documentary directed by Jon Alpert and executive produced by James Gandolfini. The film highlights the experiences of soldiers returning home with life-altering injuries.

It was Caleb who introduced John to the world of acting. John's first role was in "Down the Arm of God", where he portrayed John Davis, a Marine living in a sundown town in Texas. John also assisted Caleb during the production of The Outpost, offering insight and support drawn from his own military experience.

John is also a skilled weapons instructor and military advisor, offering his expertise to bring authenticity to any military-themed film or production.
