Born and raised on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, in Naples (Italy), Roberta Pia De Angelis is a film producer and director with a deep passion for the Seventh Art, rooted in a long-standing connection to this world, inherited from what was once her family's movie theatre, Teatro-Cinema Pierrot, located in Ponticelli, on the outskirts of Naples. Her work has received recognition at international film festivals both in Italy and the United States. Her storytelling focuses on significant human rights issues and deeply human themes.
