Biography

Bobby Taylor was born on February 18, 1934 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. He was an actor, known for The Assault (1998), Far Out Man (1990) and Work It (2020). He died on July 22, 2017 in Hong Kong.

He was an important part of the people who discovered the Jackson 5. He is named in Berry Gordy's book"To Be Loved: The Music, the Magic, the Memories of Motown,".

Singer and headliner of group 'Bobby Taylor & The Vancouvers' who included Tommy Chong on guitar and Wes Henderson . He was later a music producer.

He is listed with The Corporation as a producer of the Jackson5's debut album. Some of the other songs he produced then are in Soulsation! released in 1995.

Has one daughter: Donielle.
