Maria Gutierrez was born in San Antonio de Cachi, Peru. She was a portrait studio photographer from the early seventies until mid-90's. She emigrated to the United States in 1996. She has been always interested in acting. What started like a dream, became a reality. Knowing the camera was an advantage for Maria. She started auditioning for minor roles, and seems like she won't stop in the foreseeable future.
