Biography

Chih Hao Shen is a filmmaker working across animation and documentary. His debut film was recognized by the Rhode Island International Film Festival. His films have screened at DokuFest, In the Palace, Fantasporto. His film YinYang Sea won the Grand Prix at the 42nd Asolo Art Film Festival in 2026. His work has also been presented at Clermont-Ferrand and Visions du Réel industry platforms. His work spans visual design and digital media, including licensed design for The Lord of the Rings (Chinese-language market), participation in the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, and the founding of a software company developing animation and VFX tools for the Apple ecosystem.
