Ebi Wijaya Latumeten (born 14 February 1987) is an Indonesian writer, filmmaker, film director, and digital cultural archivist who has been active in the creative industry since 2009. His work integrates cinema, documentary storytelling, digital heritage preservation, and community-based cultural initiatives.
He is widely recognized for directing the social reflective film Behind the Secret (2021) and the stage production Ayahku Pulang. He is also the founder of the Bumi Manusia Foundation (established in 2014), an organization dedicated to community empowerment, cultural preservation, and inclusive education through participatory arts.
As a researcher and metadata specialist, Ebi developed the SCIFT (Standard Cultural Information Filing Template), a metadata framework designed for documenting intangible cultural heritage, folklore, and digital archives. His interdisciplinary work bridges contemporary cinema, open-access knowledge, and cultural heritage preservation, contributing to the long-term accessibility of Indonesian cultural memory.
