Orlando Alfonzo is a Venezuelan actor currently living (2025) in Argentina.
He studied acting at the Gimnasio de Actores in Caracas, the Rómulo Gallegos Center for Latin American Studies (CELARG), La Casa del Artista, the Sportivo Teatro in Buenos Aires, and the Argentine Actors Association, among other academies.
He graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering from the Simón Bolívar University (USB) and a degree in Social Communication from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV).
He was a member of the USB university theater group "Amarillo #5" and later founded the companies "Horus Teatro" and "Kebebasan Producciones." He performed in more than 20 theater performances, including plays, street performances, and musical theater.
He migrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2014. There, he joined various theater casts, including "Hair, the Musical," directed by Pablo Gorlero, and "J. Timerman" by Eva Halac.
He has participated in international theater festivals in Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, and Chile.
He played the character of Ronnie in the second season of the HBO Max series "Días de gallos." He played Nicolás in the short film "El último tramo," a co-production between Argentina and the United States. He played the character of Rainbow in the UN3 TV series "Partícula."
In addition to acting, he is a radio and television host. He hosted the reading, writing, narrative, and oral tradition column on the television program "Hoy nos toca" on Canal de Ciudad (TV). He also hosts the program "Buenos Aires Cosmopolita" on culture and migration on puntocero.me.
He is the author of the book "Marti, the Butterfly Tiger," for which he won the Unpublished Authors Award from Monte Ávila Editores (Venezuela) in 2011.
