Biography

Kenneth Barry is an Irish actor, writer, and film producer based in Limerick, Ireland. Known for his compelling screen presence and creative versatility, he operates both in front of and behind the camera across international features, television dramas, and independent cinema.Barry trained at the Limerick School of Acting under Nigel Mercier. He is expanding his footprint as an independent filmmaker, recently making his screenwriting and directorial debut with the short film It’s Not Me, It’s Him (starring Elaine Stokes, Eoin Daly, Joseph Barry, and Rhys Daly). He previously co-produced and starred in the acclaimed short drama The Moment Before, which won "Best Script" at the NITIIN International Film Festival.His extensive 2026 feature film slate includes a role alongside Liam Neeson in the action-comedy 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank, as well as appearances in the historical dramas Drummer Boy and Once Upon a Time in a Cinema. On television, Barry’s credits span prominent UK and Irish broadcasting networks, with appearances in RTÉ's Fair City, Hidden Assets, BBC's Blackshore, Crimecall, and the Come Dine with Me Ireland: Christmas Special
