Biography

Andrzej Wojciechowski graduated from Polish National Film, Television and Theater School in Lodz in 1995. He works as cinematographer of fiction and documentaries films with most talented Polish directors. He is also director of documentaries and experimental films. His films was screened at festivals around the world. He recorded two experimental music CD's with Marzena Majcher. Now he lives in Warsaw, works in Poland and EU.

Andrzej worked on Kasia Klimkiewicz's FLYNG BLIND (2012) in the UK. Cinematographer on Polish blockbuster hit THESE DAUGHTERS OF MINE (dir. Kinga Debska, 2016) and critically acclaimed WALPURGIS NIGHT (dir. Marcin Bortkiewicz, 2015).

Andrzej Wojciechowski is a successful and experienced cinematographer. He was the director of photography of the critically acclaimed film, Walpurgis Night, directed by Marcin Bortkiewicz, as well as Polish blockbuster films directed by Kinga Debska, e.g. Plan B and These Daughters of Mine.

In 2018, he shot two documentaries - Tomasz Drozdowicz's Concerto for Two, which premiered at the 2018 Krakow Film Festival and won the 2018 Warsaw Film Festival Audience Award in the Documentary Section and the Village of Swimming Cows directed by Katarzyna Trzaska.

In the past, Andrzej has collaborated with director Katarzyna Klimkiewicz on two projects. He was the director of photography on Katarzyna's short film Hanoi-Warsaw, which was awarded Best Short by the European Film Academy in 2010 and on her feature debut Flying Bling starring Helen McCrory.
