Biography

Chris got his career started in music at the age of 16, working on the street team for Detroit rapper Blaze 313. He then formed a group Shadowboyz with his cousin under the stage name Soulja Tru, later Yung Tru. The group released two albums The Introduction in 2006, and Shadowboyz vol 1 in 2007. He released a few solo singles but never released a solo project of his own. Simultaneously Chris attended Adams State in Alamosa, Colorado where he majored in English Communications and also played football. By 2009 Chris left music to pursue a professional football career. He landed with the Las Vegas locomotives in the, now defunct, United Football League.

In 2017 Chris co-founded If I'm Being Honest, and turned it into a hit podcast reviewing movies, TV show, anime, and video games. The podcast allowed him to be in front and behind the camera as well as writing scripts and articles. By 2021 the company had disbanded. Chris plans to revive the company in 2025.

Chris has always had a passion for writing and entertaining. To date he has 2 books currently published.

He started taking acting seriously after doing a few online skits. Chris's focus has shifted to films, not just acting but writing and directing too.
