Biography

Woody was born in England and moved with his family to Sydney, Australia at the age of nine. Coming from a strong acting lineage, his grandmother was a celebrated stage actress and his grandfather, Laurence Naismith, was a renowned English character actor who appeared in over 100 films and numerous stage productions.

After earning a BA in Fine Arts from Queensland University of Technology, Woody spent a decade working as a professional actor in Sydney before relocating to Los Angeles in 2010. Since then, he has built a growing body of work, with credits including *Goddess of Love*, *Swelter*, and *Concealed*. He also wrote, directed, and starred in the upcoming film *The Fox Hole*.

In addition to acting, Woody founded the talent agency and production company Franklin Creative, where he continues to develop new projects, including a short film currently in pre-production. He has also completed an audiobook titled *The Endless Night*, exploring the Gold Coast club scene of the late 1990s, and recently wrapped production on the ABC Kids series *Caper Crew*.
