  • Dino Castelli was born on December 18, 1974 in Syosset, New York, USA. He is an assistant director and actor, known for Apologies (2008), Terminator Salvation (2009) and Mulan (2020).

  • He began to explore the video medium when he directed an abstract series of shorts, Minimal: The Nature Scene and Searching for Confusion: 1998 with a VHS camcorder.
  • He wanted to expand his writing, so he wrote a short film entitled, Happy Ending, in which he also directed, co-starred, and produced. It played in some U.S. festivals and created some buzz. This is when he created his production company, Mindset Films.
  • Currently worked as an Assistant Director on one of the stories in "Lost Suburbia". A new horror film based on local Long Island horror stories. And production has just finished on "The Ghouligans" a web horror series by the Slack Pack. Dino has Directed, Co-starred, Assistant Directed and also shot some of the skits.
  • He was approached by friend and fellow actor, Jake Weisz, for a story about a man with OCD. He completed the writing and they began pre-production on "Jackson" together. The film was completed in April 2006 and is playing in festivals all over the U.S.
  • Started performing in local plays and picked up directing stage plays. Began directing some great plays, such as, Twelve Angry Men, Glengarry Glen Ross, Dracula and A View From The Bridge.
