Rukshana Goyary also known as Hrishita, is a self-taught filmmaker hailing from a small tribal village in Assam, near the Indo-Bhutan border. By day, she serves as a dedicated employee in the Border Security Force at Indo-Bangladesh border, but her true passion lies in cinema.
Rukshana believes deeply in the power of film as a language that transcends barriers, allowing people to connect on an emotional level. Her work focuses on capturing and communicating the often-unspoken emotions, particularly those experienced by women, which are difficult to express in words. Through her films, she aims to give voice to these hidden feelings, offering audiences a chance to see the world through a different, more empathetic lens.
