Lee, Chan-ho graduated from Dongguk University with a degree in Film Studies and completed his Master's coursework at the same university. He has directed numerous short films, including Who's gonne Save Me, which was selected for the International Competition at the Asiana International Short Film Festival. Another of his short films, Flamenco Nina, competed in the Korean Short Film Competition at the Jeonju International Film Festival and the International Competition at the Women's Human Rights Film Festival. It was also invited to the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival and the Gwangju Human Rights Film Festival.
His feature film experience includes serving as an assistant director on Park Jung-bum's Alive (produced by Second Wind Film). Chan-ho's recent feature film, Water Lilies, has been officially selected for the Kolkata International Film Festival and the Moscow International Film Festival, and has been invited to over 40 international film festivals, receiving a Special Jury Mention Award at the Athens International Digital and Film Festival.
Film director Lee, Chan-ho strives to create Feature films that demonstrate respect for their characters and remain faithful to cinematic aesthetics, a vision he passionately pursues.
