Lee-San Gayle is an award-winning film director and producer based in Los Angeles, born and raised in St. Andrew, Jamaica. She has recently received a Masters in Film and Media at the LA campus of the New York Film Academy with Summa Cum Laude status, after achieving a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Film Production at the Caribbean School of Media and Communication (carimac) at the University of the West Indies, Mona in Kingston, Jamaica.
In the past five years, she has produced, edited and directed short films, commercials, television interviews and music videos. She has worked on major Hollywood productions such as those of Hulu, Bravo and Paramount Pictures, as well as she has worked with local accomplished production companies like Ikon Media and Cinecom Productions. Much of her work has been screened in festivals around the world and are shown on different streaming platforms.
Lee-San believes that the talent of creating worlds on screen can be one that brings much needed healing to the world. She is a professional director, producer, line producer, assistant director, gaffer and editor, working to produce visual and audio content that entertains, opens minds and impacts lives.
