Biography

Michael is a director and writer born in Melbourne, Australia. A graduate of the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in Directing and Melbourne University (Music) he co-founded Before Dawn films, specialising in drama and commercials. He has worked as co-ordinator in both pre and post production with an emphasis on VFX. Prior to entering the film industry, Michael worked extensively as a musician and comedian.

Studied with Johnny Ray Meeks at the Upright Citizens Brigade.

Wrote a sequel to E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) at age 8. It was never picked up.

Frequently works with Brett Swain and Safka Sintmaartensdijk.
