Zander Hollander was born on 24 March 1923 in New York, USA. He was married to Phyllis Rosen. He died on 11 April 2014 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.
He was a respected former United Press International journalist. In
addition to working for UPI, Hollander reported for the Associated
Press about his stay in the Soviet Union. From there he went on to
become a reporter and city editor for the Northern Virginia Sun.
