Hilda Lawrence was born in 1906 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. She was a writer, known for The Alfred Hitchcock Hour (1962) and Teatr Sensacji Kobra (1956). She was married to Reginald Lawrence. She died in 1976 in Manhattan, New York, USA.

Some sources give her birth date as 1894.

Her husband, playwright Reginald Lawrence, once worked as a press agent in the theatrical production company of Charles Frohman.

She attended Columbia School, Rochester, New York.

Her various careers included reading to the blind, grading student papers at Johns Hopkins University; work in the clippings department of Macmillan Publishers; staff member at Publishers Weekly, and work as a radio writer for "The Rudy Vallee Show.".
