Originally wanted to be a filmmaker, but instead learned to build houses, race sailboats, make pizza, care for animals, throw a football, manage an office, build and fix computers, inventory, deliver extremely good customer service, hospitality, sales, drive and courier, inspire and lead, only to come back to making films in his mid-40s.
Is drawn to creative endeavors, but also has a background in management, and administration. One of the few filmmakers around who's both forklift and keelboat certified.
