He graduated from the High Institute of Cinema, directing department in 1976 with a very good grade. He started his career as an assistant director for his brother, the director, Mohamed Abdel Aziz, in films such as (The World of Children of Children) 1976, (Some go to the Authorized twice) 1978, and then he directed his first film, "A Very Special Invitation", in 1982, and in 2002 he went on to direct TV series (between Shatin and Mieh), after a long career in cinematography, but this did not prevent his cinematic continuation.
Among the most important films directed by the apartment film, "The Right of the Wife", in 1985, starring Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Maali Zayed, Naima Al-Sagheer and Farhan's movie, Lieutenant Adam in 2005, starring each of Fathi Abdel Wahab, Yasmine Abdel Aziz, Lebleba, Sami El Adl, Hassan Hosni and many other films.
