Simon Peter is production sound mixer, sound designer and re-recording mixer based in Berlin. He works on feature films, documentaries and commercials and has his own sound equipment for feature films and documentaries, as well as a 5.1 sound design studio in Berlin, Kreuzberg.
His Re-Recording Mix for "The Trouble with being born" won the Austrian Film Award for "Best Sound Design" in 2021. His Production Sound for "Space Dogs" was nominated for "Best Sound" at the 2021 German Film Awards. His acoustic work has been heard on TV, online, in cinemas and at over 50 film festivals worldwide.
Simon graduated from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2015 and is now a member of the German Film Academy, the Academy of Austrian Film and the Professional Association of Film Sound (BVFT).
