Biography

Marcelo Araujo was born on June 12, 1947. He was an actor and producer, known for Drained (2006), Policía corrupto (1996) and Sinal (2013). He was married to Graciela Ocampo and Diana Beovide. He died on March 16, 2026 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Was the main announcer of "Torneos y Competencias" from 1989-2004.

Historic reporter and journalist.

Took his first steps in communication while studying at the Circle of Sports Journalists, and he later co-created a school to train journalists. He worked on the historic sports strip "Sport 80" together with great colleagues of his generation, as well as on radio La Red.
