Sohm Kapila is a BAFTA Connect actor, writer, and producer whose work is defined by what critics call "a volcanic range" and a grounded, global authenticity. Born in India and raised in Nottingham, UK, the Los Angeles-based artist has seamlessly bridged the gap between British grit and Hollywood spectacle.

Sohm is currently garnering critical acclaim for her lead role as Ann in the 2026 feature Grizzly Night. Her performance has been singled out by top critics, with Haute-Lifestyle praising her "excellent" and "cool-headed" portrayal, while others have noted her as a "pivotal" emotional anchor in the survival drama.

Her extensive filmography includes major studio turns in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Warner Bros.), The Mummy (Universal), and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Sony). On the small screen, Sohm has become a familiar face through standout roles in Netflix’s Never Have I Ever, Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, and ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. Last year she joined the cast of the highly anticipated HBO/Sky series Small Town, Big Story, alongside Chris O'Dowd and Christina Hendricks.

A graduate of the prestigious Italia Conti Academy with a BA (Hons) in Meisner Acting, Sohm’s versatility extends to the world of voice and performance capture. She is globally recognized as the voice of the sharp-witted Professor Satyavati Shah in the blockbuster video game Hogwarts Legacy, and has lent her talents to the Barbie Mysteries series on Netflix as the series regular role of Lady Carson.
