Akshat Jha

Akshat Jha is an actor, model and dancer based in Mumbai and NYC. He got his performing arts training from the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. He is playing the lead in an upcoming TV series titled "Dharm", and recently shot commercials for MTV, NBC, Subway, etc.
He has also guest starred in the season finale of "Are We Famous Yet?", and plays the lead in the short film "Sharing Is Caring", which was officially selected to be screened at The 7th Annual Lee Strasberg Film Festival.
Akshat's previous work includes lead roles in the Off-Broadway productions "Ramaavan - A Musical" and "An Ordinary Day In Another World", the latter being directed by Emmy nominee Jennifer Fox. He featured as the lead actor and dancer in the music video of Arcane Motif's "Kahaniyaan", and the unofficial music video of "I LUV IT" by Camila Cabello.
His awards include a prestigious honor by the Chief Minster of his state in India for creating awareness on the declining child sex ratio and gender biased sex selection in his country, with his short film "Paakhand" (hindi for Hypocrisy). He has also received an industry recommendation in unarmed combat.
