Biography

Amanda Emily Brandt is an actor and writer whose work is defined by raw honesty, emotional truth, and a deep connection to her own life experiences.

Hailing from San Bernardino, California, Amanda moved to New York to attend New York University, where she studied documentary filmmaking, acting, and political science. During her time at NYU, she trained at Stonestreet Studios, created a Gen-Z-driven online news web series, assisted in the writers' room on the CBS drama Blue Bloods, and directed an award-winning student documentary about pollution in the Hudson River.

After graduating, Amanda continued her craft at the Stella Adler Studio while working at United Talent Agency. She later returned to Los Angeles, where she studied at BGB Studio, The Groundlings, and The Ivana Chubbuck Studio. Since then, she has honed her work in both acting and comedy writing, while also working at Apatow Productions.

Amanda's artistry is grounded in truth and vulnerability-using her own history and perspective to bring depth, humanity, and emotional resonance to every role she inhabits.
