Dariush Jafari is an Iranian filmmaker and a graduate of the Department of Dramatic Literature from the University of Arts. He worked as an assistant director in Iranian cinema for many years until he succeeded in making his first short film, Vedas, in 2020, which was nominated in three categories: Best Film, Best Actor, and Best Sound Editing at the Dublin Film Festival. Two years later, he made his second short film, Donor, which made it to the Scad Savannah Film Festival in 2022, which is considered one of the largest American festivals. Finally, his latest film, The Glass Globe, went to the BFI Flare London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival 2025.
