Hendra Lee

Hendra Lee (born Hendra Adi Ramadhan) is an Indonesian director and filmmaker based in Cibubur, East Jakarta, known for his unique background as a former professional stuntman who transitioned into directing. Originating from Sawangan, Ajibarang, Banyumas, he honed his discipline and visual sense through years of on-set physical work before moving behind the camera. Under the banner of Checklist Cinema, he made his national theatrical feature debut with the horror film "Pocong Merah" (2025), followed by "Pulung Gantung" (2025), cementing his reputation as a young horror specialist with a strong visual and suspense-driven style. Earlier, he directed the television drama-romance series "Takdir Cinta yang Kupilih" (2022), demonstrating versatility across formats and genres. Guided by his working philosophy "Kita Harus Bergerak" ("We Must Move"), Hendra emphasizes purposeful action, dynamic camera work, and collaborative set culture, aiming to craft emotionally resonant, commercially viable films that elevate Indonesian cinema on both domestic and international stages.
