Gamito Fumane was born in the former Porto Amélia, now known as the city of Pemba, in the neighborhood of Natite.

A young entrepreneur, film director, and screenwriter, he is the founder of Fumane Films, a production company devoted to innovation and excellence in Mozambican cinema. Fumane made his feature debut with Frozen Revenge (Prato Frio), a psychological thriller praised for its emotional depth and visual intensity. He followed it with Blood and Remorse (O Preço da Culpa), a powerful drama-thriller exploring guilt, fear, and redemption in modern Mozambique. In his films, Gamito blends elements of Mozambique's rich cultural identity with universal human themes, crafting stories that resonate both locally and internationally.
