Amy D'Allessandro Stolz landed in Hollywood at the early age of 17, in 1995 when she won a scholarship to an acting school. She quickly began booking commercials and some roles in television series such as The X-Files and a recurring role in the Showtimes show Resurrection Boulevard as the role of Gloria. She also won two best actress awards for her role in the indie art film Letting Go for the role of Sara, a young girl who turns to a life of addiction to escape the sexual abuse she faced at home. Amy was part of the Actor Studio and later began her studies as a Writer and Director at UCLA where her passion for filmmaking became clear.

For the past 9 years she worked in television in production Accounting, working on Marvel shows such as Agent Carter, Most Wanted and Agents of Shield, Sneaky Pete, Snowfall on FX, 68 Whiskey on Paramount Network, Noisy on Apple TV and most recently the Starz series Blindspotting. This makes her a money minded creative who understands budgeting and workflow of production across the board.

This year she wrote and directed two films that she is proud to get into the world. Blinded By Sight reflects on an African American man who struggles facing his anger towards part of a society that turns a blind eye to his struggle. It has won for Best Experimental Film at the California Women In Film Festival 2022 and at the Black Truth Film Festival. Her new film and Sci-Fi Western, The Subconscious Dreamer has completed production. The story follows the fight of a family who get entangled with the world's first scientific run government.

Her and her husband James Stolz and cinematographer, started Tree In A Field INC. to produce content and work professionally as they continue to pursue work in entertainment.
